Curtis Coughlin II, MS, MBe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Associate Faculty at the Center for Bioethics and Humanities at the University of Colorado.  He completed his graduate work in Genetic Counseling at Arcadia University and Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania.  He currently serves as one of the Co-Investigators for the Longitudinal Study of Urea Cycle Disorders; Co-PI of the Pyridoxine Dependent Epilepsy (PDE) International Consortium; and member of the Clinical Genomic Resource (ClinGen).  His research interests include early diagnosis and treatment of PDE and ethical issues surrounding large-scale genomic sequencing.
